Once your application has been assessed by the Homeselect team, you will be informed in writing of your banding.
If when we write to you about your banding, you do not agree with it, you can appeal.
You have 28 days to tell us why you think we are wrong. If you wish to appeal, please contact
Homeselect (01493 846140) and we will send you a form to complete. You have 14 days to complete and
return this form. This form allows you to give us more information that might help you appeal.
You can add further information to the form if you wish - please attach it securely to the form.
You can ask someone else to complete the form on your behalf. If you do so, you should check that what they have said fully represents your views. Your representative as well as yourself will need to sign the form.
If you have difficulties inputting your case in writing, please contact Homeselect. We can arrange for an
interpreter/translator if neccessary, or in some instances we can arrange to hear your case in person.
The review will be conducted by the Homeselect Assessment Panel. You will normally be informed of the decision within eight weeks of requesting a review.
